The economic and ecological benefits of seed saving are numerous. Here is a summary from, The Value and Significance of Saving Seeds and How it Benefits You:

This Summer I decided to give it a try, and didn't want to spend money on special packets. So, I did a quick internet search, and found this simple tip from the Royal Horticultural Society.

I found that newsprint and a bit of tape worked extremely well.
