Our past experience has not made us the way we are. It has made us believe
we are the way we are. In other words, we can always change and decide to become the people that we'd love to be, to discard the beliefs we were gifted at birth for the knowings that come from our own life experience. We might then know that with courage, and our own beliefs that we can truly commit to stepping out purposefully in the direction of our dreams.
Buckminster Fuller said, 'In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the existing problematic model, you create a new model and make the old one obsolete. That, in essence, is the higher service to which we are all being called.'
